Was born in Nicosia (1951), the capital of Cyprus.
Graduated from the faculty of Pharmacy in Ankara (1975).
He was referred as one of the pioneers of artistic studies in the Turkish
Cypriot Photography, in the book "The Heart of a Nation"(published in 2007) covering the period 1571-2001, written by the distinguished historian Prof. Pierre Oberling.
He is photographing mainly the people.
He has won prizes in all continents. He has won gold medals of major photography federations, associations and photo clubs. His famous work “FACE TO FACE” has won 75 awards in FIAP/PSA recognized international competitions ( 2015-2020).
He is occasionally invited to take part in the juries of the local and 
international photography competitions. His various activities in the field of photography which have been widely publicized in the media, have inspired many persons in Cyprus to take up the art of photography.
