Dr Sharatchandra H C, born in Mysuru now lives in Bengaluru. He is an environmental professional with over 50 years of work experience as an activist, researcher, faculty, administrator and a consultant. 
Photography is his passion from his younger days. Started his photographic venture with a simple film box camera and a later with a 35 mm film camera. When the world shifted to digital, he stopped his photography and restarted with an APC format camera in 2009. Wildlife is his preference but also does other form. Loves monochrome images. One of his images was in Top 100 best Images, Season 2023-24 of Campina Photographic Society. He continues to actively participate in national and international salons. He is also a documentary film maker having produces films on rivers and water falls of Karnataka for educational media.
In the last two years, has won several awards. His photographic distinctions include AFIP, A NPS, G APS, Hon FPMP, and Hon CPE.
