Mike Schwalbach, born in North Rhine-Westphalia in 1965, has lived in his adopted home of Bayreuth for over 30 years and is a passionate, self-taught amateur photographer. He has been working as a product photographer since 2013.
His successes included 5th place in the German Photo Championship and winning the Upper Franconian Photo Championship. Competitions held by the DVF (German Association for Photography). He was also able to win one or the other medal at national and international level.
In addition to still life, animal, nature and landscape photography, his portfolio also includes macros, portraits and architecture. A broad genre, which he has gradually built up over the last few years. If time permits, short and city trips with a small photo group are also on the program. However, the photographic recording of his adopted country is particularly close to his heart. He shows the most beautiful corners and squares of Upper Franconia at all times of the day and year, both in color and in black and white. At the same time, he is always trying to develop, improve and refine his technical skills.
