HONORARY DISTINCTION
Hon.CPE

Marie Sajous

Country: France

I started shooting in the film era, when I was 11 years old when my Grandmother gave me my 1st camera.
I learned the basics, the technique, thanks to my Father.
I owe him a lot.
Very quickly I turned to nature photography, macro, flowers, insects, then birds, mammals.
It has become a passion that allows me to escape and unwind from my work.
I like to find myself in the forest, at the edge of rivers, in isolated corners of the world where Wild Nature still has rights (for how long?), Far from the world of men (in the broad sense), in which I find it more and more difficult to find myself.
My animal photos are all taken in the middle of nature, with total respect for the animal, without disturbance. If there is any inconvenience, I prefer not to take the picture.
I have been part of the Fronton photo club (south-west of France) for 12 years now.
It is important to be able to help and share your experience with other photographers. It helps to progress, always in search of the perfect photo !!
I started international competitions 2 years ago now.
It allows me to see the work of photographers around the world, a real source of inspiration.
Thank you again for this title, I am very honored.
