HONORARY DISTINCTION
Hon.CPE

Ladislav Pollak, RISF3, GPU CR1, QPSA, AFIAP, Hon.CPE

Country: Slovakia

Ladislav Pollak was born on December 23, 1980, in Dunajská Streda, Slovakia.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Comenius University in Bratislava. Since 2005 he works as an employee of his father - attorney at law.
His interest in photography began in 1989, when he received his first camera, and an elementary school with a darkroom gave him the opportunity to learn the basics of non-digital photography. Like many photographers before him, he was absorbed in the magic of the process associated with the development of film in the darkroom.
The work of Ladislav Pollak reveals to us the nature of a passionate photographer, sensitively perceiving the splendor of the world, manifested in the lightness of dragonflies, the color of flowers, the charm of birds, to the structures in modern architecture.

His successful participation in dozens of international photography salons and exhibitions since 2016, gives us a clear answer to the question of the competitiveness of his work in an international context. The result of his efforts is the fact that he became the first photographer from Slovakia to receive photographic distinctions (titles) from organizations such as ISF (Image sans Frontière), GPU (Global Photographic Union) and PSA (Photographic Society of America). Ladislav earned his RISF1 distinction in 2016, RISF3 in 2019 and then AFIAP, QPSA and GPU CR1 distinctions in 2020.
For the excellent promotion of photographic art worldwide and for supporting and promoting exhibitions organized by Campina Photographic Exhibitions Society, he has  received the honor title (Honorary, in abbrev.: Hon.CPE) of Campina Photographic Exhibitions Society in 2021.
