IBRAHIM M. IQBAL, AFIAP, HON.CPE, LBPS Country: Bangladesh IBRAHIM  IQBAL: Born 9th October 1970  Chemical Pathologist & self-taught photographer began his career back in 1988. Did his MBBS from Chittagong Medical college, Bangladesh in 1996 and Then M.D ( Doctor of Medicine – in Clinical biochemistry) from Bangabondhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU),  Dhaka ,Bangladesh in 2005.

Achievements:
Continuously participating in worldwide photographic competitions since 1989 under the patronage of Federation De Photographic Art, Brussels (FIAP), Photographic Society of America, USA (PSA), Image Sans Frontiere, France (ISF), Image Colleague Society, USA (ICS), Global Photographic Union, Italy (GPU), International Union of Photographers (IUP), Master of Light (Canada) etc. Won more than 150 awards in National & International photo contests which include
- Gold medal in 6th national photo contest in 1996
- Grand prize (Colour Portfolio) in 7th national shilpokola academy  photo contest, Dhaka  in 1999
- First Prize (Monochorome) in 7th National shilpokola photo contest in Dhaka 1999
- Gold medal in Ashahi Simbun International photo contest, Japan 1999,
- 3rd Prize in NIKON International photo contest, Japan 2000
- FIAP BRONZE Medal (Portfolio) in ZAGREB International photo contest, Croatia 2004,
- RAKAL GOLD Medal in International Photo contest Serbia 2002
- GPU gold in emotion and human relation - odessos international photo contest , Bulgeria 2017

Exhibition and Publication:
- More than 1500 photographs have been exhibited in different countries includ¬ing India,, Pakistan, Singapore, USA, Romania, Russia, Denmark, Spain, Croatia, Cyprus, Canada, Germany, Turkey, France, Australia, Argentina, Sweden, Serbia, Ireland, Bosnia hezegovina, Montenegro etc. 
- 8 Solo and 3 group exhibitions to his credit in Dhaka and Chittagong.
- Three times invited photographer in MASTER”S SHOW organized by Romania Photographic Society in Romania National museum in which only 50 MASTER photographers all over the globe has been invited for exhibition their works.
- More than 250 photographs have been published in different national and International catalogues, calendars, journals, books and news papers.

Distinction 
- Awarded Artist FIAP (AFIAP) distinction by Federation international de Photographic Art, Luxemburg  in 1996
- Received Licentiateship (LBPS) from Bangladesh Photographic Society in 1992, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Presently serving as CONSULTANT in Lab Medicine department, Imperial hospital limited and free lancing as a photographer.
