My Photographic Journey
After hanging my boots post working in the corporate sector for 30 years, I faced the worldwide pandemic Covid.  And, it confined me to my house during lockdowns and left me with nothing much to do. That's where I picked up an entry level DSLR that my daughter had abandoned after her college studies and tried to know its operations. And, slowly got addicted to photography, learning the technicalities and watching invariably almost 40-50 YouTube videos everyday. My photography journey with DSLR started with Macro shoots in my apartment garden which luckily was abuzz with a lot of butterflies, spiders and other insects during covid when humans were indoors like prisoners in the jail.
Once embargos of covid were lifted, I started exploring other genres of photography from portraits to landscapes to birding to sports to architecture and to real estate. For the last two years, I have been a member of a club known as Youth Photographic Society, deemed to be the best photography club across India. In the last four years, I have taken multiple photography trips, attended various photography exhibitions, attended many online and offline workshops by the stalwarts in the photography fraternity to hone my skills.
For the last one year, I have been participating in National and international salons and have won acceptances and awards. as on date. I have the honor of having 893 acceptances and 79 awards including Gold, silver, Bronze and others. During this 3 years journey, i have been lucky to get GPU Crown2 and IIG/s distinctions and now honorary CPE.
