I am a Toronto-based fine art photographer and digital artist with a passion for creating visually compelling and emotionally evocative imagery. My work blends elements of classic portraiture, surrealism, nature, nude art, and horror photography, often inspired by Renaissance painters and surrealist masters.
With over 15 years of experience, I transitioned into photography from a background in oil and acrylic painting, as well as graphic design. This foundation allows me to bring a painterly aesthetic to my work, crafting images that feel timeless yet contemporary.
I meticulously refine my compositions in Photoshop, sometimes incorporating hand-drawn elements on tablet. My creative process involves careful pre-visualization, often starting with a detailed sketch, followed by a photoshoot that aligns with the vision, and finally, digital compositing to bring the concept to life.
My work has been recognized in multiple international photography competitions, earning several awards and distinctions.
For me, photography is more than just an art form—it is a source of joy, expression, and therapy, making me feel truly alive and creative.
