Roy Gudem, A.CPE, E.CPE, Hon.CPE, ES.CPE, MS.CPE, EPSA, GPU-CR3, EFIAP/b Country: Norway The world of photography is always changing. I have always tried to adapt and adjust to these changes. My personal photo journey involves starting out with a total manual camera, to motor drive and auto-focus (even eye-controlled auto-focus), to digital cameras so overloaded with software it is hard to actually handle the camera without accidentally pushing a button (often a button I never use anyway). From monochrome to color, from film to digital and from the darkroom to Photoshop. From disposable cameras to telephone cameras. From working in a photo store to permanently banned on social media. |

It is also obvious that there is changes in the world of salons/exhibitions. However, I still find it quite rewarding and interesting to participate in international salons. It is good to see that Campina Photographic Exhibitions is one of the few salons that keep the focus on photo and photography. The fact that Campina Photographic Exhibitions awards distinctions, like the Excellence CPE that I now have received, is truly a big motivation to keep supporting this salon.
Thank you so much to Razvan Baleanu and Campina Photographic Exhibitions for the E.CPE distinction.
