Ratnajit Choudhury Country: India I have started photography with compact cameras like everyone else. Later on, after gaining experience and more interest, I switched to DSLR, canon 500D with 18-55 mm and 70-300 mm. At present I use a Canon 7D MK II and an additional lens Canon 100-400 mm, 100 mm macro IS USM and Tokina 11-16 mm lens. I started taking pictures since my childhood when I was 13-14 years old. I used equipment like Agfa Click III, Kodak, Yashica MF-2, Premier camera during my early stage of photography.  It was a great hobby for me during my childhood but didn’t get any better platform to present my photographs as today we all have got. I am always interested in people and the drama that unfolds in every minute around me. The infinite possibility of human nature as a subject for a photographer never fails to excite me. Besides people and street, I am very much interested in travel, nature and macro photography as well. I feel, like people, travel, nature and macro photography too has infinite possibilities for a photographer. My approach to photography is to keep things simple, besides the basic compositional guidelines I try to catch the right moment. To me freezing a moment out of ordinary life that tells a story of a person makes an image extraordinary.

My photographs accepted and exhibited more than 50 countries around the world through salon photography as well as other national and international contest as well as my works published many national / international journals and photography books. I have been assigned as Jury in many national and international photography contest as well as earned photographic distinction and honor in last couple of years from various national / international organisations as follows.
