Jozef AERTS is retired bank-employee.
Jozef’s preferences in the photography include children, old people, portraits, animals, street-photography, city-life, photojournalism and photo-travel.
He started and joined by a photoclub in 1973 and joined by PSA in June 1975 and since that time, he has had about 14000 accepted pictures at provincial, national and international Exhibitions in more than 60 countries and has received about 1600 awards, including many FIAP and PSA-medals in CPID, PID, ND, PJ, PT and prints. He has been awarded with international Honors around the world.
Meanwhile, he received his distinctions in the photography (see above).
He is also PSA-Area Membership Director for Western-Europe. Jozef had regularly publications in international photomagazines. He is a renowned travel photographer, visited nearly thirty different countries for 35 years. He also had given many lectures in very many photoclubs in Belgium and in the Netherlands.
During 1981 till 2010, he was every year in the TOP-10 of PT and various places of honour in other sections. Jozef has judged many internationals, both in his native Belgium and 7 other countries, including in the United States. He visited also 11 Conferences: 6 for FIAP, 4 for PSA and 1 for the South African Federation.
