I am a self-taught photographer from Hannover in Germany with a focus on concert photography. Concert photography is my passion but I do not limit myself to this topic. I love the music and the energy at concerts and I love photography as a way to express myself and my feelings. In December 2009, a symbiosis of my two passions happened for the first time when I was accredited as concert photographer by the band "The Crüxshadows". The fire was kindled.

A lot has happened to me since then. In addition to the "documentary" concert photography under the name "Music2See" (also that always claiming to have my own handwriting) the focus for me is increasingly on the artistic approach. From this I developed my artistic music photography line "The Essence of Music".

For me, "The Essence of Music" is about isolating the source of the music portray: The power, the energy, the emotion, the skill of the Musicians who bring the music to life. Nothing should distract from the musician, all attention should be on his game, his personality and be focused on his work. It's about the stylized image of the musician, a quintessence of his stage presence and about capturing a brief, crucial moment.
