My father took me into the world of photography at the age of ten. An Agfa Box was my first camera.
But I started seriously with nature photography – and then well-equipped in 2000– with all my travels to Africa, mostly the southern part, I got really close to wildlife. So all animals are my favorite, but next to that is Travel Photography. It is so exciting seeing the situations on the street and in culture. And as I learned to be fast in wildlife Photography it helps getting good travel shots. Also I love black and white pictures, so I convert many of my digital photos. I do digitalize my analog slides myself.
In 2016 I started taking part in competitions and I have now obtained the MPSA and the GPU CR3 titles. And I am working as an ROPA assistant director for the PSA.
In real life I am a retired teacher.
