Country: India Though my click on shutter for the first time began during my teen ages, tasks of actual photography like learning of basics of photography, editing of clicked photos, participation in Salons and Exhibitions, visits of various kinds of events, fairs, festivals of national importance etc. started at the very beginning of the Second Innings of my life at 60 years of age when I retired from Banking Service. Now I am 65. During this span of five years, some noteworthy happenings took place. Besides winning some National and International Awards in Salons/Circuits/Exhibitions, I have been able to bring some remarkable National and International Distinctions like AFIF, EFIP, AFIAP, EFIAP, HONY. CPE, ES.CPE in my pocket. These may be of no value to non-photographic persons, but of great importance to me to enhance my encouragement. |

At first Photography to me was a hobby, one of the so many means to pass good times. But now it is not so. With the passage of times, it has changed its objectives. It is, to me, at present, a medium, a language to communicate with our fellow people, a medium to know our locality as well as country. To me, it is a medium to express the hidden expressions of my fellow people, a medium to express my inner thoughts and feelings to the viewers. A single shot of a photo tells unuttered agony, untold story of the subject/s of the image more clearly than what hundreds of words can do.
Though I like street photography that tells the story of people, Portrait and the world of nature also attract me. Travelling is also one of my favorite hobbies that also help me a lot in this regard.
