Sanjay Danait, widely known as D. Sanjay, is a graphic designer by profession and a wildlife photographer by choice. Winner of several prestigious national and international awards in Nature and Wildlife photography, his photos have been appreciated and published by National Geographic (NatGeo) and BBC Wildlife Magazine.
Sanjay is a proud recipient of Gold Medals from Fédération Internationale de I'Art Photographique (FIAP), Federation of Indian Photography (FIP), and Photographic Society of America (PSA) for his photos in various photo salons. 
He is a recipient of Excellence FIAP (EFIAP) Distinction from Federation Internationale de I'Art Photographique (FIAP), Luxembourg, Excellence FIP (EFIP) Distinction from Federation of Indian Photography (FIP), Honorary CPE Distinction and Artist CPE Distinction from Campina Photographic Exhibitions Society (CPES), Romania.
Sanjay's name was listed in 'Who's Who in Photography 2020' by Photographic Society of America (PSA). 
He was honoured as 'Top 50 Global Wildlife Photographers 2021' by '35Awards' Russia, an international community of professional photographers. 
Recently, in November 2022, Sanjay has won the coveted Sony-BBC Earth Award in Wildlife category. He was also declared as the Mega Prize Winner of the photo contest.
