Rudi Fonteijne

I am Rudi Fonteijne from the Netherlands.

Since my childhood I was involved with art, painting, drawing and later also photography.
When I was 16 I bought a 2nd hand darkroom with Rolleiflex double-eyed camera 6x6.
And also a Fujica x3
After many years of analog photography, I switched to digital photography.
 first a Canon camera later switched to Nikon.

Because of my Graphic and multiple art courses and as a Graphic Technician,
my interests are photography.painting and music.
I was on the board of a local photo club for several years and this was a great experience.

When I'm outside I feel at one with nature, observing and capturing the right moment with the camera. Searching for a detail that can give the photo added value. Usually I go out with less nice weather, when the clouds dominate you have chance of the best photos.
Watching the light and waiting, is the sun coming through the clouds or is it a day that remains cloudy.
It is watching and being patient.

My preferences of photography are street, journalism, details and seascapes.
