A Guide to the Landscape of the Female Body
For Pavel Rabas, the landscape of the body is not only a source of enjoyment but also a profound vision that he strives to capture in his photographs. His fascination with the human form has led him to traditional techniques such as analog photography and platinum printing, which he processes himself in the darkroom. These methods allow him to capture the intimacy and depth of a moment—something often lacking in the digital medium.
Time passes, and with it, precious moments that are often lost to future generations. Photography has the unique ability to preserve these fleeting instants. While digital prints can last for decades, silver gelatin prints endure for a century, and platinum prints can survive for centuries.
Beyond photography itself, Rabas dedicates himself to numerous exhibitions, both solo and collective, as he believes that while digital photography is one in a million, a physical print is one of a rare few.
Throughout the year, he participates in international photography salons, seeing them as both a challenge and an opportunity to receive professional feedback. As an amateur photographer, his passion for the craft is driven by love, not livelihood.
