Education — university degree at Odessa National University (Faculty of Biology).
In 1991 became a member of the USSR’s Union of Photo-artists and Ukraine’s Union of Photo-artists.
Frequently took part as a jury of different international and republican photographic contests — “Ukraine my, Ukraine”, annual competition of HCOXY, International week of Russian photography and other.
Participated in more than 300 international (in the past – across the Soviet Union) and republican photo exhibitions. For his works received more than 200 different awards (golden, silver and bronze medals, diplomas, honored ribbons).
Organized personal photo exhibitions in Ukraine and other countries: “The moment of truth”) and “One hundred moments of truth” dedicated to the Orange Revolution in Ukraine, diverse thematic projects: “Territory of love”, “Sand of times”, “To stop, to look back…”, “Three years and 1/125 seconds”, “Odessa and its dwellers” and others.
Was a photographer for books “Seaport and Odessa” (pub. Genoa, Italy, 1991), encyclopedia “The whole Odessa” (pub. Moscow-Munich, 1998), “Glory and modernity of Odessa” (pub. Yokohama, Japan, 1990), photoalbum “Odessa” (pub. Odessa, 2005) and also many catalogues for artists.
Photos are exhibited at many museums of Ukraine, Russia. Also many works are to be found at private collections.
Was chosen to be a Chairman of the board of Odessa`s regional organization of National Union of  photoartists in Ukraine.
In 2014 received an AFIAP title (an artist of International federation of photo art).     
In 2017 received the high title of EFIAP (an honored artist of International federation of photo art).
