Marcin Bawiec, QPSA, EFIAP, A.CPE Country: Poland Marcin Bawiec lives and works in Tarnów, he is a graduate of the High School in Jodlowa. He combines his passion for photography with a passion for travel - he has visited many countries in the world (including Madeira, the Philippines, the Azores, Tuscany, Germany, Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, Spain and Italy). He prepares photographic documentation (distant places, landscapes and people) from each journey, which he then presents at numerous exhibitions, meetings and multimedia shows. He is a member of the Fotum Wojnicki Photographic Society, in which he is currently a member of the Audit Committee. |
Marcin Bawiec is the author and co-author of many photo exhibitions; individual, collective, open-air, post-competition. He actively participated in the International Photographic Salons, organized (among others) under the auspices of the FIAP, winning many approvals, medals, awards, distinctions, diplomas, congratulatory letters. The result of participation in the International Photographic Salons (under the auspices of FIAP) was the award (in 2017) of the honorary title of Artiste FIAP (AFIAP) and (in 2018) the title of Excellence FIAP (EFIAP) - by the International Federation of Photographic Art FIAP (based in Luxembourg).
In 2018, Marcin Bawiec was appointed director of membership of the Photographic Society of America in Poland - the above-mentioned function is performed by a Pole for the first time (in the history of PSA), he is the Liaison Officer of the Photographic Society of America in Poland [5]. On April 24, 2018, he received the QPSA (Recognition of Photographic Achievement) certificate - this is the first of its kind for a Pole.
