Hi, I am Kalyan Chattopadhyay, a Kolkata, India based travel photographer. Over the past 5 years I have been actively associated with the field of photography - a passion turned into profession.
My captures have been published in various websites & photo competitions of both national & international acclaim such as National Geographic "Your Shot" Edition, for 7 times in a row, along with regular publishing on 1x.com and photoimaginart.com. I have been conferred with the Special Award in the “All India Photography Competition – Exhibition *My Beautiful India*” organised by the Russia India Cultural Exchange (RICE), along with two of my photos also being selected for open – air exhibition held by the HQ of the Russian Geographical Society, St. Petersburg. An exclusive achievement of mine was when six of my photos got room in the archive of K.G. Maheshwari Foundation, Mumbai, India. One of my recent captures has been selected to be published in the “All About Photo’’ magazine, U.S.A. in "Special Edition All About Photo Awards 2020". I have been honoured with over 70+ Awards (National & International) including Bronze, Silver & Gold Medals from Federation of India Photography (FIP), Photographic Society of America (PSA), Master of Light (MOL), International Union of Photographers (IUP), Image Colleague Society International (ICS), International Union of Photographers (IUP) etc. for my contribution in the field of photography.
