We have the Flinders Ranges on our doorstep. I love to visit this area and exploit the beautiful late light flowing over the landscape. I am using a Nikon Z711 DSLR camera. Mostly I have my Nikon 400 prime lens mounted on it. I love to narrow in on the textures and features in the landscape with this lens. A lot of my broader landscapes are taken with my Fuji X100v 24 megapixel 35mm fixed lens camera. A sturdy tripod used. I enjoy my photography immensely and also enjoy participating in International Salons to see how my images compare to the rest of the participating photographers. I belong to my countries main Photographic body (Australian Photographic Society) Also I am a member of our local camera club. Achieving Honours within the Australian Photographic Society has been an interesting journey. Achieving Honours in other Photographic organizations has also been a pleasant activity.  I have done a lot of local judging and in the last couple of years have been lucky enough to do numerous International Judging’s.
