In 1972 on my 14th birthday I received my first ever camera an old Yashica rangefinder this started my love affair with photography,my school had a photographic Society I joined that and was taught how to use the camera and how to develop and print my own pictures in a darkroom,I was hooked. My great love was always aviation photography and I became reasonably well known on the air show circuit eventually gaining airside passes at big airshows and this for me was the only form of photography I knew. In 2009 I joined Hoylake Photographic Society a small but incredibly friendly club with outstanding photographers who opened my eyes to all genres of photography and with their help, advice, and encouragement made me into an all round photographer ,I was encouraged by them to join the PSA which I so love being a member of they also encouraged me to start entering International competitions, which I so now enjoy. Time with my camera is my relaxation and chill time as is visiting all forms of art exhibitions and enjoying seeing the skill and techniques and styles of all forms of art and being inspired by what I see. I am count myself very lucky to have had my work published locally, nationally and Internationally. Enjoy every second with your camera and photograph what means something to you and do it with love it will so show in your work.
