Country: India MY VISION ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY To me, photography is not simply a profession, nor does it mean manufacturing photographs..It is all about creating them..When it comes to creation, heart has a role to play..I had a vision the day I decided to take photography as a medium to express myself through..It was not the dazzle of glamour photography, nor was it the lure of money from commercial product shoots, that triggered my passion for this career. Instead, what I used to get intrigued by, was "Life On Street" and “Rural India”..!! Indian street photography has made a niche for itself by virtue of mesmerizing variety of subjects right from slum dwellers ,their children, their life, their activities, child labourers, entire families residing on streets, alms beggars, prostitutes and shopkeepers to over-crowded public transports, rickshaw-pullers, cycle riders and what not..

Mostly I happen to pick up my subjects while rambling on squalid streets of Kolkata with my camera slung around my neck in quest of answers to questions I have long been nurturing in me.. I see people born on streets of Kolkata..I see their childhood. I see them playing on street. I see them craving for food on street. I see them wreathing in pain on street. I see them growing up and getting married on street. I see them giving birth on street. I see them dying of diseases on street too. I try to capture moments of their lives only to know  if they are really different from us,if they are not part of our society,if it is only the poverty that they are neglected for,if it is the same joy they feel as we do,or if it is the same sorrow they experience as we do.. These questions always keep me restless. Perhaps,this is the reason why my photographs speak about stories of their life.. And believe me,they are as exciting as ours..!! 
I stay focussed on my vision from the day I picked up my camera for serious photography..I always make sure that my photographs are not only visual treats to human eyes, they must also render them empathetic towards my subjects..

I still remember the day I was struggling to assemble all my resources,hunting my wallet,in order to own a DSLR camera.. Intrigued by the urge for unleashing my desire to be in the realm of photography,I was a helpless novice trying to put words to my visions captured by my lenses.. I triggered my passion in photography,as a medium of self expression,though I knew not how to take off.. 
In the year 2011.. I stepped out with the instrument of my desire,fiddling with its buttons, craving to have a proper learning experience.. It was then that I met my first Master of photography,who helped me evolve,grow and shape my dreams as a budding photographer.. My exposure from the rudiments of photography to advanced modern techniques of indoor and outdoor photography commenced here,as I achieved a Distinction Honour in photography AFIP(Associate) under FIP (Federation of Indian Photography)in the year 2013..
Having acquired the basic recognition,the need to improve my skills through advanced training by experts on technicalities,enhanced.. Now it not only became an involvement,an effort to interpret my photography in a technically perfect manner,but to make it exuberant with a touch of aesthetics..My training formalities helped me accomplish the honour of FFIP(Fellow) of Federation of Indian Photography in the year 2015.

2017 remains to be a remarkable chapter in my career.. It is at this time that I had been conferred the APSI( Associateship) of the Photographic Society Of India.. And.. As ASAP(Associateship) of Sigma Academy Of Photography India.
And.. Honoured as “WORLD RANK 4 TOP EXHIBITOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY OF AMERICA (PHOTO JOURNALISM) 2017.
In 2018 I had been conferred such a prestigious recognition as “Hon.PESGSPC” and
“GPA.PESGSPC” - GRAND PROGRESS AWARD" from "PASCAL ENGLISH SCHOOL & GREEK SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHIC CLUB" –Cyprus.
And also as "AFIAP" DISTINCTION FROM "Federation Internationale de I'art Photographique" (FIAP) – Belgium.
In 2019.. Conferred as "Hon.FCPA" of "Association Of Professional Photographers FotoClubPro Arad" (Romania) and “Hon.CPE” of “Campina Photographic Exhibitions Society” (Romania)… And also awarded as HONORARY FELLOWSHIP OF GNG" (HFGNG) – INDIA.

In 2020.. I was conferred as “Hon.APF” from ARTWORK PHOTOGRAPHY FOUNDATION – INDIA.. And also conferred with "A.CPE" DISTINCTION TITLE FROM "Campina Photographic Exhibitions Society" (ROMANIA)

It will be very encouraging for me as I look forward to succeed to reach every milestone that comes my way for the betterment of my photographic career.. I shall feel elated and honoured at such a prestigious achievement!
My journey continued,accompanied by recognitions through various Salons of both National and International standards,with more than 2000 Acceptances.. Above 300 National & International Awards from the country and abroad and a decent number of Gold, Silver,Bronze medals with Honourable Mentions.

Besides..there are innumerable public shots that has been printed in several prestigious publications of international standards.. National Geographic, Lonely Planet (India), Asian Photography(India), IPA, Telegraph (India), EPSON, ABP.. Etc to name a few!
