Ahmed Russell is a distinguished photographer and academic hailing from Bangladesh. With a background in Bengali Language and Literature from the University of Chittagong, he discovered his passion for photography early on. As the General Secretary of the Chattagram Photographic Society (CPS), Ahmed has not only showcased his leadership skills but also his exceptional talent behind the lens. With over 100 international awards and distinctions such as FIAP Gold and PSA Gold, he's earned global recognition for his work. He has firmly established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the global photography arena. In recognition of his exceptional talent and contributions to the field, the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP) bestowed upon him the AFIAP distinction in 2021, followed by the prestigious EFIAP distinction the following year, now proudly bearing the title EFIAP/Bronze. Ahmed's contributions extend beyond his own accolades. He's passionate about fostering the next generation of photographers and has organized numerous national and international salons. His ultimate goal is to establish the Chitrachitaa Photographers Circle, uniting photographers worldwide.
